Still in FL

Key Biscayne, FL - Well, we still haven't left FL!  There is a saying in Spanish that goes, "el que mucho se despide, pocas ganas tiene de irse," which means, those who say good-bye the most, are the ones that least want to leave!"  We ordered another part for the motor that was supposed to arrive today to the little marina where we are staying.  It did not arrive, and we have been waiting for it... so the plans are we will leave for the Bahamas tomorrow, Saturday and the part will be sent to us there.  Even though we have not left for the Bahamas yet, it felt good to leave Ft. Lauderdale for a change of scenery.  Now we've been docked for the past two days in No Name Bay on the southern tip of Key Biscayne (where there is a beautiful lighthouse that we climbed).  Interesting how a 45 minute drive between Lauderdale and here converts into a 6 hour sail when on a boat!  We love Key Biscayne... it feels like Latin America here... beautiful weather, everyone speaking Spanish, really good food, etc.

I started homeschooling and am really enjoying it.  The first topic is the OCEAN and all sea life.  I am learning a lot too.  Soon, I will post some pictures.

Just a quick post so people klnow we're alive and kicking!  Starting tomorrow, the best way to reach us if you need a quick answer is kus6435@cruiseemail.com.  We will check this address daily.  No more phones, no more texts, etc. The cruise email is very rudimentary, almost like a text message, it cannot take attachments, pictures or logos well.

Hope everyone is doing great!
